I entered into a discussion on fake Christians elsewhere, and this became part of my discussion. For there to be reasons we can call someone a fake anything, there must be truth to compare it to. There is a story allegedly about Einstein to paraphrase he brought up when speaking about evil how it was a deviation from good it couldn't stand on its own, quite like cold it can only be defined by the absence of heat, or darkness by the absence of light.
Even Atheism is nothing on its own, it is the absence of belief in God without a belief in God for comparison you couldn't even claim to be an Atheist. There is simply nothing about Atheism that you can point to and say this is a true Atheist, quite unlike a Christian where there are without a doubt reasons we can say this one is and that one is not. One of the reasons is that you can have someone claiming to be a fake Christian is the claim they are but acts as if s/he were an Athiest with no fear of God in their lives.
If we are going to talk about the deaths of people due to ideology Thestic and Atheistic then in the last century we have Athiest murdering people by the millions in China, and Russia, and adding the lack of value for human life to our abortion industry, it puts those two nations to shame due to shear numbers. I even heard and I'm not sure if it is true, that California wants to legalize using human remains as compost since it is after all according to them, nothing valuable to them, quite like the unborn a commodity nothing more.
We are all judgemental, the difference is in what we value and why, to hold human life as sacred requires a cause that makes sacred possible, as being made in the image of God, Imago Dei, remove that then human life is only a commodity, people then become nothing but objects for our viewing pleasures or toys to do with what we will. Vows become nothing more than statements of law to be held to as long as we desire them to be so. Atheists can be moral, they have no reasons they can point to as to why for a foundational view.
@KellyJay saidYour 'logic' begins from the false premise that that which you believe to be true is in fact the truth, the fact that others don't believe in it or only pay lip - service to believing in it makes it no more or less true.

I can't speak for others, but elsewhere in these forums I made the point that I don't regard myself as an Atheist, since as far as I'm concerned there is nothing to be Atheistic about, and I daresay that others here hold the same view.
I don't think anyone claimed that genocide, torture and other abominations are or have ever been the preserve of Christianity; in these regards Christianity is no more or less culpable that many other beliefs or Ideologies, so what is your point?
@KellyJay saidI would venture to say that 99.9999999% of all those who today retain themselves to be Christians are fake, where fake is the absence of genuineness and lack of wholeness.

Only the whole (complete) is genuine. Putting it mildly, anyone who follows Christ's teaching/instructions on a partial basis is a fake Christian.
Besides, your argument lacks genuine foundational logic. A genuine and all-powerful God does not allow puny and insignificant humans, which He created, to nail His one and only Begotten Son to a cross, and be dead for 3 days.
@Indonesia-Phil saidYou are of the opinion that what you believe is true is?

@PettyTalk saidI believe the only fakes ones are those without Jesus Christ in their lives, all the others are just running through the motions.

@PettyTalk saidWhat does the scripture say?
Describe having Jesus in your life.
2 Corinthians 13:5 English Standard Version
Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!
Becoming a Christian is a divine act of God.
@KellyJay saidWe aren't discussing my 'beliefs' though, are we? It's you who have begun a forum thread with a statement which makes no sense, and as with everything you post here it stands up to no scrutiny whatsoever, and as always you are quite unable to defend what you write. Unless and until you understand and accept the fundamental flaw in the logic of your first paragraph, there really is no point to this conversation.
You are of the opinion that what you believe is true is?
@Indonesia-Phil saidYou enter a conversation and talk about someone you become fair game in return. Especially if you take a side about a worldview discussion. I’ll defend anything I say if you give a specific reason that needs addressed. But if you’re not up for a discussion then maybe you should not go further.
