@KellyJay saidI never said that Jesus said "..we don't need anyone's words other than His.. .
No, I want you to admit you just lied about Jesus saying we don't need anyone's words other than His when it comes to scripture.
You made that up.
I SAID THAT. I said that Jesus's words are sufficient for eternal life. Reason is that he taught everything that is required, and Jesus said to FOLLOW HIM>
@Rajk999 saidYou want to ignore everyone God sent and only look at what Jesus said, is not what Jesus taught, stop lying.

@KingDavid403 saidYes please instruct me, do it in the spirit of kindness if you don't mind.
The only fake Christians around, are THE ones that do not follow and grow in the teachings of JESUS but claim too.
All the rest of your self-righteous judgmental bull-crap written here you can stick it. If you need instructions let me know.
@Rajk999 saidYou did read the quotes about every word that comes from God, didn't you?
Yes. He needs no one else. If can if he so desires listen to many other speakers and preachers, but these are not necessary for eternal life, if you have listened to and understood what Jesus said.
@KellyJay saidWell you will be in trouble because the bible you use was tampered with by the Catholic Church, and others who removed books from the original Hebrew or Greek manuscripts.
You did read the quotes about every word that comes from God, didn't you?
Were these not part of the 'every word of God' ? Have you read these?
So you go chasing after every word... Im going to stay with the teachings of Christ. Good luck
@Rajk999 saidEvery word that comes from God and you are not telling people to do that, instead, you are telling them to pay attention to only a few words, the one that Jesus spoke.

@KellyJay said[Matthew 18:1-5 NKJV] 1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" 2 Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, 3 and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 "Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Yes please instruct me, do it in the spirit of kindness if you don't mind.
@KingDavid403 saidGood reference. We are pretty safe in saying that the little child was not a Christian, since there was no such religion at that time, and therefore neither a genuine one nor a fake one.
[Matthew 18:1-5 NKJV] 1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" 2 Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, 3 and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 "Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
For me, the most telling passage in the NT is that wherein a Roman centurion comes to Jesus and asks a favour, for his (the Roman's) servant has fallen ill. Jesus says the most astonishing thing to him: "Your faith has healed him." Not "I, Jesus, have healed him by divine miracle, but your faith has healed him." What could possibly have been the 'faith' of a pagan? Nothing to do with doctrines later invented and inserted into the NT (which did not exist then) about a Trinity or a resurrection or a virgin birth etc. etc. "The documents have been tampered with" as H.L. Mencken remarked.
A Roman centurion, part of the occupation army in the Levant at that time, would have been a man of considerable position who commanded people and was accustomed to getting obedience without question. Yet he humbles himself to ask a favour of a man of low station (a carpenter's son) for the benefit of one of his servants, also of low station. Simple humility in the service of those less fortunate then oneself -- that's the message. And Jesus blesses him. I don't see how any thinking person can miss that message, and yet, right here this thread we see people who call themselves Christians wrangling over abstruse interpretations to establish who is a real Christian or a fake Christian. Maybe they'd have more success as pagan soldiers in an occupied land.

@KingDavid403 saidIndeed sir. The proof of the pudding is in the eating.

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidWhat flavor is the pudding? I may want some of it myself..... the proof.
Indeed sir. The proof of the pudding is in the eating.
You're back on the scene already?
