I don't understand why theists, mostly fundies, hate the idea of the multiverse.

If your god is infinite, then why can't it rule over an infinite universe?

What's the problem here?

Just the idea you think only atheists believe it?

If atheists like it, fundies hate it no matter what the truth?
I don't even know what "the idea of the multiverse" is so
how could I hate it? The problem with your question is that
there is no infinite universe, since it only began when God
created it. And God can rule over what universe there is.

You said
While there is much proof for the fine-tuned universe.
then when asked to present said proof you said you didn't have any.
You suggest that some unbiased scientists exist who have this proof, but you have not pointed us in that direction. Could you give us any names? references?
Did you see the proof, or did you just take their word for it?

I took their word for it. I do not have any way to do the
experiments they can do. It is way too much trouble for
me. I have nothing to gain from it anyway, since it already
supports my belief that God is the creator. So you are
the ones that should be trying to come up with proof to
prove their proofs are in error. This guy has not done that,
he only rattled on about what might be.

So an infinite god rules over a finite universe? Just wanted clarification on your take on this.

Yeah, I would not like them to come after me for proving
that God is.

I know it seems self centered but I would argue odds in the case of a fine tuned universe. (Life more than just human life also) In just this solar system alone and earth in general. Right atmosphere balanced having a moon at the right distance and tides. Sun right distance from earth. (BTW I think it total plausible for these conditions to be somewhere else in the universe too) Jupiter acts like a big magnet for debris so we experience less impacts. The list just goes on and on for the odds in favor of life on earth. Right strength in magnetic fields. Gravity / mass right for us. Ambient temp for water to be in liquid form and for life in general. Rotational speed of the earth right and helps create weather.

So again, as is often the case, you have nothing.
And neither do you.....

I agree.
i was walking on the bea....anyway i saw all these people walking their dogs.
And i thought maybe we're like pets for the aliens. (This idea has been postulated by Perry Farrell in his song "pets"😉.
I'm thinking these "aliens" are in unseen dimension trying to breed better humans.

Y'know a dog looks at you like it understands and it will fetch a stick, or not, but really it's one dog in a million that is truly special...some tangent here ...
anyway it's like "here you go, this is your lot in life. Dare you question? Dare you question to question? "
Why is there conflict amongst humans? will it end? Why do people crap on about god? Why do people believe in a devil?
