To be clear, I never watch any of your links.
No problem.
The sinning nature of man causes his "advancement" of tech knowledge to be like "one step forward, two steps backward".
Look at the wonderful Internet. Wow. What advancement. And obviously I am using it myself to propagate the truth of the Gospel of Christ. (Even though you assure me no one is reading).
But how fast can LIES spread around and poison minds! A great invention. A great tool for good. And also a great tool to innundate minds with garbage, lies, hate, spamming promises to enhance your sex organs for $$$.
Okay, a little more modestly - "two steps forward, one step backward" is technology sometimes. The hype is unreliable. Space is now a way to expand warfare primarily.
Tell me Teach. Does evolution need an animal smart enough to make a hydrogen bomb and wipe out everything living?
When the last river is polluted and the last fish is caught and the last tree is cut down, will we THEN learn that man cannot eat money?
The man God created to have His image and exercise His dominion was to be a man like God. We have a MODEL in Jesus Christ. That is what God MEANT by "human being".
So we need Jesus the Lord and Savior to fulfill the meaning of our creation.
@Ghost-of-a-Duke
To be clear, I don't believe that you have any lessons superior to the revelation of God's word.
Now this seeks some reply?
When you cast doubt on such human achievements as man walking on the moon, is this born from a primitive fear that man is exceeding his station and trying to be God himself, or perhaps that such achievements might be the end of biblical knowledge that places human origin in a garden?
Yea, there is kind of a question in there somewhere.
1.) I can accept that moon walks occurred. But I am not the only one who notices the footage contains peculiarities which suggest staging.
And that I have been told by people who have no problem with 1969 moon walk. I could be in error to question the actual occurrence of the walks.
2.) I don't think the achievement has any effect on anything taught in the Bible.
I think the opposite is the effect. The grandeur and precision of the creation is marvelous. That is with such predictions they could pinpoint where such a massive object could be at a certain time to land something on it.
Fantastic. The heavens declare the glory of God.
Now Einstien as really a smart man. If God is weakness how come a smart man like Albert Einstien was too weak not to resist the temptation to dump his first wife?
I know he could have gained the empowering of grace to do otherwise had he confessed his temptation was to sin. And had he called out to Jesus Christ to save him with His indwelling Spirit.
He also might have had more humility to admit that his cosmological constant was a boo-boo only because he personally disliked the idea of a beginning to the universe. To his credit he latter said it was the biggest blunder of his career.
Had he accepted more on faith "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Gen. 1:1) he might have been sparred from the superstition of a past eternal universe which required his cosmological constant.
@sonship saidYou are in error. There are no peculiarities that suggest staging. (If you go on to reference the flag moving in the wind etc then I have no interest in conversing with you, so naive is the argument).

@sonship saidThe universe is mind-bogglingly vast and the more we learn about it the more ridiculous the notion that we are the only planet containing life and are of any unique importance.

The heavens declare the absurdity of God.
@sonship saidTo denigrate Einstein in such a manner is weak, even for you.

Shame on you for suggesting drawing close to the God is human weakness.
Listen Teach, can we close class a little early tonight? Looks like you're still working on a syllabus.
Thanks.
@sonship saidHomework for today. With the trillions of planets in existence, many clearly containing life, why was God's son only sent to Earth?

@sonship saidFeeling one is drawing "close" to a god figure and believing in one's own immortality is such a ubiquitous element of the human condition - throughout human history and in seemingly every culture - that I would not describe it as a "weakness" so much as an aspect of human nature, and one that is understandable and not surprising.
Shame on you for suggesting drawing close to the God is human weakness.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidWe have no evidence that was so.

@suzianne said'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.'
We have no evidence that was so.
John 3:16

John 3:16
"And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
"Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
"No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father." -- John 10:15-18, KJV
We know nothing of His "other sheep".
@Suzianne
Hello,
Though all things were created for and unto Christ His word was to go to "all the nations" not to go to all the worlds to preach the gospel. (At least at this time?)
" . . . All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and disciple all the nations, . . ." (Matt. 28:19)
Had He meant go to all the planets and do so probably something else would have been said.
Modern science has discovered more and more about the exceptionally privileged nature of the planet humanity inhabits.

@Suzianne
Amen to this indeed.
"As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
What love. It amazes me more and more that He was so committed. He could have said "Forget about them. Forget the whole race."
"And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
Probably other people not of that immediate audience. That's my sense of it.
Gentiles perhaps as targets of His dying for the world not just Israel.
"Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
That is power. That is ultimate authority. Dependence on God 100% issues in such great authority and power.
"No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father." -- John 10:15-18, KJV
He could do nothing except with His Father. This shows the sheer power of utter dependence on God. It also shows God's heart to man is good (contrary to Satan's lie).
We know nothing of His "other sheep".
I don't expect any extraplanetary sinners or living beings will ever be found.
We simply have to own up to how unique humanity is.
When God creates all things new (Rev. 22:1) I don't know what an eternally creative God will do.
"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more." (Rev. 21:1)
But its center and capital of that universe in which righteousness dwells will be the New Jerusalem God's heart's desire. That is a grand sign in Revelation signifying the total union, mingling, incorporation of God and man.
In other words the standard model of Christ the man united with God will be mass produced on a gigantic scale as God dwelling place. God's living habitation, and Christ's Bride.
It is and always was FOR a God saturated humanity He created the creation.
