If you look at the GNP of Saudi vs the GNP of the US you might find a tiny difference there.
Obama wants to ensure a steady supply of oil till we can dump those Saudi asssholes and become independent on foreign oil.
THAT is the only reason he would show respect for the Saudi's. Your buddy Bush Jr would have done EXACTLY the same.

If that is the case, why is Obama directing drones to attack them in Pakistan and Afghanistan and other places? Doesn't sound to me like a cow towing gesture, more like he is their implacable enemy.
