For in Prison:

1. Food, clothing, and shelter are "free"
2. It is a gun free zone
3. Health care is free.
4. Every day is gay pride day.
5. Everyone is equal as they eat, breath and sleep the same.

And why are atheists so under-represented?

Τhe atheists are so under-represented because, as genuine children of Satan, are the masters of deception and they escape judgment.
In addition, aren't you not aware of the fact that the perspective of the enprisoned in US Christians is not to be children of G-d but children of Satan? (For further clarification go ask dj2becker and Eladar when they 're 10 feet tall)😵

A lot of prisoners turn to Jesus in prison. Like there are no atheists in fox holes. Same idea. I've known a number of individuals that were incarcerated and decided they were guilty and claimed to believe in Jesus, but after release went back to the same lifestyle that led to their imprisonment in the first place.

True conversion(born again)is measured by the fruit that is produced. Sometimes it takes some a long time to overcome issues.

One doesn't need to be in prison to be a child of the devil.

Of course it's a metaphor. Consider this verse for example.

John 8:44
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Jesus was speaking to the religious hypocrites signifying who they were begotten of, namely Satan, who is also the father of the lie. Satan told the first lie making him, metaphorically speaking, the father of lies. Subsequently anyone not led of the spirit of God is led by the spirit of Satan and is a child of disobedience.

All that is a simple Bible fundamental. It doesn't take a rocket scientist or a scholar to understand it.
