Super.
I was about to try and outline froggy's thesis on the Pauline influence on Christianity, but I realised I've only got a vague idea of his views. I know he thinks that it was Paul who made faith an important element of Christian faith (Jesus was more of a good works person). I also know he thinks that the Early Church suppressed the Gnostics in a power struggle (he disapproves very strongly of Iraneus, for instance).
But, beyond that, I know little else. Could someone fill in the gaps?

Are you frogstomps prophet? 😉
If so would you mind filling in the gaps?
You said you understood his views and then admitted a couple of posts later that you haven't really a clue of what he's on about.
To keep it simple, Paul came up with a theory that had practically nothing to do with what Christ said.
Here's a page on Pauline theology: http://www.abu.nb.ca/courses/NTIntro/Spirit7.htm
You can do your own research, though, I'm sure.
Luther was one of those who rejected Paul's dogma as irrational.
Have you looked into Gospel of Thomas or any of the other gnostic gospels?

Would you like to supply something from the Bible to support this statement?
