Excellent point, good verse...notice before we are restored to God through Jesus Christ
we were in a place that scripture calls us enemies to God. That doesn't change until we
are right with God in Christ, which is why those not right with God are declared condemned
already by Jesus. It is a horrible place to be outside of the grace of Christ.

You cannot differentiate God from the way God wants us to live, just so that it could be
twisted to possibly mean, sinners are not enemies with God, instead they are enemies
to only what God wants? If God tells us live in love towards Him and each other and they
don't, they rebel against the Word of God, then they are automatically enemies of God,
because the Word of God, is God.
