I kept reading the Bible all the way through.

I never had the heart to just read until I could pick up something that seemed to be a handy rationale to dismiss God.

I get a much fuller picture of God's nature when I continue to read through. When I notice how He interacted with man in varied situations I get a well rounded view from the whole Scripture.

Some people read the Bible as if sitting down to a turkey dinner just to find a bone to choke on.

Thankyou. But Christ promises me God Himself. And He delivers on that promise. We have a wonderful foretaste of a much fuller taste to come.

But like Adam, I had to stop and consider "Where am I?"

I decided I wanted to have fellowship with God and His love.

For I am a truth-seeker. My path does not end in something palatable for human consumption.

But you are human.
God became human to meet you, lift you, fellowship with you, join with you and to you, for eternity.

I think when you read through the Bible, you have to put some things on the back burner for latter. Keep reading.

I avoided no curse. I did believe that Christ voluntarily became a curse on my behalf that I might be blessed.

If anyone said they did, it might not mean so much.
The Person who did makes me reconsider how strong His love is for me.

A truth that genders resentment against God?
A truth that festers with cynicism against Jesus Christ?

You know Christ said if the light in you be darkness, how great is the darkness.

Does your truth influence you do want to do away with God?
