I just try to address the OP as it is presented. Judging by all your dancing around, you have some regrets about your clumsy OP. I think the "truths" that you are gagging to talk about are religious/spiritual ones. But you ruled that out early on.

His opening statement was philosophical, not religious.

Can you explain how statements such as "dancing around", "clumsy OP" and "gagging to talk about" would NOT be insulting? Is your quest here (in this thread) to discourage anyone who is interested in the topic from participating?

No. My "quest" here is for robust, lively and candid debate. KellyJay, for example, has probably written 20,000 posts responding to and engaging me. I don't see how that indicates that his participation is hindered in any way. Only a couple of weeks ago he was commending me on my approach to arguing my corner.

I wasn't talking about KJs participation. I was talking about the participation of anyone who was interested in topic. Is it your quest to effectively shut down this thread by discouraging anyone other than yourself from participating?
A simple yes or no will do.
