I dont hate anyone. I do however dislike some people. Is there a difference?

Hate is a very visceral emotion. I think we tend to misuse the term a fair bit - as in 'I hate this thread'. Dislike is more reasoned perhaps, or at least, a little less severe.

Are you forgetting someone? Hmm?

We usually only hate those whose influence we cannot avoid. That could include a school bully, prison guard, and even a president. It may even include people we love or used to love like ex-spouses - because of our love, we cannot let go, so we are forced to face what we don't like.

for me hate also implies fear. dislike seems a more reasonable aproach to seomthing you don't aprove.

likeing and loveing are different strong emotions.tho both are pleaseing, dislikeing and hate have there times. you may hate for a short time then come to terms with the emotion turning it to disklie. imagine you were the first to see the death camps and the children piled up, your hate would erupt, but latter you would dislike the ones as they pay for thier crimes

Whether there is or isn't a difference is a matter of self reflection.
If you're going to associate hate as essentially a stronger manifestation of disliking then the connection can be easily seen. Let's assume a person is in personal progress of trying to eliminate all hatred that they hold. For an efficient job, one would take out the roots and foundation- in this case (again if we associate hate as a more passionate dislike) he would eliminate his disliking of others. In this sense, since this arises that arises, there is no difference between the two but in contexts.
