Revelation
18
I warn everyone who hears the prophetic words in this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book,
19
and if anyone takes away from the words in this prophetic book, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city described in this book.

Originally posted by lucifershammerthey were put in the apocrypha so no words would be added too or taken away but the kjv was a english translation from latin and some misstakes were made either thro interpritation or man made. the latin version may not have been correct either for the same reasons. using the principle tell a man in english one story he translates to another in turn he translates to another and so on then the last tells the story back to the first some changes will be, not out of malice but translation.
The (Catholic) Bible with seven books (1 and 2 Maccabees, Barch, Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach) removed along with the Greek parts of Esther and Daniel.

away from scripture. Since each book within the Bible is a stand alone
piece of scripture its own book as it goes, so no matter which
one you look at either the Catholic or not, they the (Bibles) are simply
a colleciton of books. There isn't anything in scripture that says you
must keep these books within your Bible or those books within that
Bible.

Originally posted by lucifershammerNo it would not be alright. That' s why the protestant bible is less valid. For 1400 years the christian world accepted the 7 books protestants call apogrypha as being inspired scripture until Luther decided that they were not. Who the hell was he to do that??? On what authority did he do this dreadful thing. He crucified the word of God/Holy Scripture.
