Now let us think. ( Mind you sonhouse, we shouldn't really be praying, more getting off our arses and sorting the problem rather than than relying on some supernatural being to do it for us!).

If this is what you believe, then you, too, miss the point.

If Christians are to be believed then no one.
Simply to be without sin puts Him above all other men.
And to be the begotten (or fully a man, for all men are begotten) Son of God (or fully God, for in the beginning He was with God, and He was God), He is unique among men. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

You worship yourself. A man. A creation of the living God.
Kind of missing the point, isn't it?
It's true, I worship men, well mankind to be specific. I feel real affection for all the talented ones. To me, humanity is on the path to something much greater than mankind, not sure what that is but I think Mankind 500 years from now will be unrecognizable and much better in all ways than Mankind of today.
I see mankind reaching for godhood all on their own.
I think religions denigrate the achievements of the best of us by always saying this person Jesus or this person Mohammed or whatever, is by definition above ANY other man on Earth.
I think that dulls humankind and that is one big reason why I am not in the religion club any more.
