The first thing I can think of is I would be perfect.
My first thoughts were "loving and merciful" but really, my main characteristic would be to be Obvious. No chatting with folks for 5K years and then disappearing and expecting subsequent generations to still believe. Also no fair making curiosity a part of the human make-up and then having a fit when they respond to temptation and eat a piece of fruit. No smiting the innocent. No letting people believe nonsense and reading more into death than what's there (i.e. "God must've taken her for a reason..."😉. I'd also show up every ten years and make the same announcement: "I love you. I'm sorry people do horrible things. It's your job to fix it. Stop praying for change and become the agent of change."

That would be true if I were to become God. But I didn't say that.
I said "if you were God" what would you be like? Not, what you be like if you "became" God.
Anyway, I started this thread with something else in mind, but I am having some difficulty finding the words to post it with.
