Trying to use some form of logic, or conventional reference we know of doesn't work, because what Jesus did during his ministry on earth is beyond what we can fully comprehend. As Jesus said to Thomas when he saw the marks in his hands and feet after the resurrection: : "You see and you believe, blessed are those who do not see, and yet believe" Faith is a gift. You either have it, or you don't.
I can't speak to the subject of "intellectual conceit" since I consider my intellect to be solidly in the average range; and yes, I do believe others can debate my point without me. You don't really need me here all the time to monitor and otherwise babysit you folks, do you?

Well - I've discussed them at least twice now. How many more times do I have to do this before it's not "bad form"??
cos it's a fairy tale re-hashed through the ages by the controlling forces ... The Church ... Don't forget priests,monks etc where the only ones that could read & write back in the day, so the general public would rely on their 'wisdom' --- the voice of god ..
These myths could be re-inforced by 'acts of god & miracles ' which any present day magician could perform
