Why did Jesus teach using parables? Did he ever tell his disciples why?

So that those who are blind like the Pharisees [and modern day Pharisees like yourself] would not see and learn the truth.

But hey you do get the spirit. Jesus didn't want certain people to believe.

    Matthew 5:43-45

You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.…

This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

If you want to see Jesus' explanation as to why he taught in parables when instructing the masses read Matthew 13:11-15.

Notice he was not talking to Pharasees, but the people.

Are you suggesting that Jesus, on purpose, did not teach certain people? Making sure they would be in the lake of fire?

Jesus knows in advance the heart of man, and who would accept what they would do with what he said.

Do you have a quote to back that up? Although it might be true, it also might not.

What about man's free will to repent? The choice to change one's mind? You are saying that some people are doomed from birth, don't realize it, and can do nothing about it?

I have asked you for references for what you say but you provide none. I will return the favour.

I provided quote. You just asked who is more authoritative Jesus or Paul.

So....God will create a human life simply so that person will live out their life...then go directly to hell for eternity?

With no option to alter that course?

Why would He do such a thing Rajk999?
