And why is that?

Because the materialist must chase sense enjoyment over and over and over and over.

He must continually seek objects of sense gratification.

Many times those objects are far out of reach.

He becomes frustrated.

He then becomes angry.

He may even become involved with criminal activity to g ...[text shortened]... pit at the thought.

He has now raised his mundane consciousness into Krsna/God Consciousness.
No it doesn't mean that its an illusion it simply means that pleasure is transitory, our
own poet captured it beautifully,

Pleasures are like poppies spread
you seize the bloom, the flower is shed
or the snowfall on the river
a moment white then melts forever
- R.Burns

Sex is a spiritual and physical giving of love and emotion to be enjoyed. Why must it be
treated with contempt? Its not sex itself which is the object of contempt that you seek,
its ones perspective of it or the motivating factor for engaging in it. Yes it can be for
self gratification, but its never as fulfilling as giving someone else pleasure for even
Christ himself stated the principle that there is more happiness in giving than receiving.
This contempt for healthy and natural things is not wise nor balanced and I suspect has
the tendency to produce a very bitter fruitage in the adherent.

The devotee does not have contempt for natural things but instead enjoys the sweet smelling spring flowers and the ocean breeze etc. and knows full well how they are existing in the first place.

However a materialist will mass produce flowers on his farm, and then take them to market to sell for the highest price to make money, and then he will spend that money on intoxication and meat and whores....................and all the while giving no thought at all of how the flowers have come into existence in the first place.

The devotee knows full well that all natural things' are due to the love and intelligence of the Lord.

The married devotee shall have sex to pro-create and not otherwise.

However the materialist shall have sex in many degraded ways, and then his wasted seed ends-up in the rubbish bin.

I dont think it possible even for a devotee of your divinity to simply engage in sex for purely
pro creative reasons. What shall he do if he finds himself enjoying the intimacy? Scourge
himself of his impurity? How is that demonstrating a love for what is healthy and natural.

I learned that philosophy, even religious philosophy, is like cotton candy.
It appears to be something edible but it has no nourisment.
It's all fluff!

You have told me where you don't get nourishment, so now tell me all about where you do get your nourishment.

For the materialist there is absolutely zero love in mundane sex.

Its all about sense gratification.

Your sense gratification and her sense gratification.

If you both give each other sense gratification you are prime candidate's for marriage, but when the sense gratification starts to wane, you are then prime candidate's for divorce.

Love is not even in the picture.

You are judging me with your own perception about sex.

You must become objective to understand what I am saying.

When you become objective and not before, you shall know that what I say is right.

You need to prove them for yourself.
Start with a serious study of the Bible.

Well, Thank you.
I can't prove it for you but you can prove it for yourself.
Study the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses.
There are no strings. If you don't find it to be true, you are free to discontinue the study anytime you like.
btw, it is free, no charge to anyone to study.

I don't see a response.
Think of all the blessings of drawing close to our Creator, our Universal Sovereign,
getting to know our real Father.
(Isaiah 64:8) But now, O Jehovah, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are our Potter; We are all the work of your hand.
