Sounds good to me. Some one has to take the lead. You? You call it a class. A class implies a teacher. Is that how you see yourself?
A set of rules is handy as long as they don t become holy and untouchable.

Yes, I am a teacher, but so would be the other members of the group.
If someone walked in and showed that they had a "deeper" spiritual understanding to myself, i would immediately recognize he/she for who they were , get up and bow in front of them and ask for any guidance that may advance the group.
This is one my talents- being able to recognize a spiritual person and order in which they come within there spiritual spheres. Everyone has their place, and while some postitions may seem more important tha others, its takes every awoken sentient being to play their parts , however insignificant or seemingly menial, to make this evolution work.
As for your suggestion on visspassana style meditation, I'm open to that. i'll go with what is best for the group.
Donations are cool. If you get something out of it, you may feel like donating so as another person may also benefit and the ball can keep rolling.
But really, charging cash is not in the spirit of my work at this stage. Probably not in the middle stage either.

I'm sure you forgot the smiley at the end of your post, and I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt, but I think,if you had followed my basic plan, you would see that this "course " would be for Spiritual Warriors. (I recommend you google that , unless you have an idea of what it means. It could save much misunderstanding🙂 )
I used to belong to a medication group myself.
It sounds like a solid plan, try it out, what the heck. 🙂

self styled bhoddisattva, inspired by Lord Shiva.
But no one really, I just thought we might assist eachother if we all tried to forget at the same time 😵
The Personality of Godhead is (lets say the President).....and Lord Shiva is the minister of Foreign Affairs.......while what I am saying is an analogy, in essence it is true.

I'm thinking of giving a weekly meditation class in ym back yard.
What do you guys think?
(I'm not selling anything, questions may be answered by anyone in the congregration and there will only be a small donation to cover teas and coffee for afterwards.)
I'm thinking 25-30 min meditation to start and then just a bit of chat and tea, but if a core group return regularly, I might make it an hour.
Any suggestions?
Can we meditate out loud outback in your backyard?

If someone else had a similar meditation class nearby, I would just attend that one.
But alas, there isn't and I think its good to have an outlet like that for certain types of people.
No, not out loud. Just quietly.
