Go and read a science book Ron, i'd suggest starting with one on what evolution actually does.
i don't think there are children's picture books on evolution. ron likes a book with lot's of pictures.

I don't think he can get past the point that evolution does not discuss how life started. He doggedly connects the origins of life with evolution even though no evolutionary biologist, geneticist, geologist, anthropologist or any other science 'ists' ever say conclusively how life started or that that is in any way connected with evolution. He doesn't get it.

What doesn't he get? I've read through this and I dont know where you are pointing to (where sonhouse doesn't get it). As for you , you dont get it. It's simple.

Evolution does not explain the origins of life, only the mutations that happen over a long period.
Even a dummy like me can get that.

Are you maybe looking for the word "abiogensis"?

    Is he sonhouse? Anyone?

he can't see the distinction between any school of science or scientific theory. to him, it's either "sciency stuff" or "god stuff."

of course, he's clueless on both subjects, but what can you do?

Ok what he said wasn't nice... however it was also true.

You do conflate evolutionary theory, abiogenesis, and cosmology at any and every available opportunity.

You demonstrate time and time again that you not only don't have any understanding of these theories
work, but that you are proud of that ignorance and work to maintain it.

You refuse to accept it when people say that you are arguing against a straw man of their position.

And you insult anyone who tries to point this out.

As aptly demonstrated by your last post.

If you want to debate evolution then fine, I am all for that, but you don't, you debate a creationist distorted
and untrue straw man version of evolution.
And the same for any other science that takes issue with YEC... which is all of them.
