@suzianne saidForget about the creation account. The theory of evolution impacts much more than the creation account in the Bible.
The Theory of Evolution has nothing to do with Jesus the Christ.
The creation account in Genesis is ancient man of 3500 years ago trying to explain God's engineering of a world, using stories and terms and concepts familiar to man of 3500 years ago. When God explained it to Moses, he understood he wasn't talking to a rocket scientist, but a simple sheepherder.
I've explained this all to you before. You didn't buy it then, either.
How do you reconcile the theory of evolution with the concept of original sin, how sin entered the world, man’s broken relationship with God, why Jesus Christ had to die on the cross, etc.
The theory of evolution and Resurrection of Jesus Christ both use the same evidentiary system - inference to the best explanation.
Only people saw the Resurrected Christ. No one saw one species evolve into another species (using a common-sense definition of species.)
And attempts to prove speciation with long-running experiments on fruit flies and bacteria have failed.
Experiments on the Shroud of Turin have failed to disprove it’s the burial cloth of Jesus Christ and scientists today can’t explain how the image on the Shroud got there.
