    Remember the former things, those of long ago;
    I am God, and there is no other;
    I am God, and there is none like me.

    I make known the end from the beginning,
    from ancient times, what is still to come.
    I say: My purpose will stand,
    and I will do all that I please.

    Isaiah 46:9,10

    The s**t they believe

    We'll see how it pans out for each of those authors.

    I thought so too, but it seemed a tad rude to diss the bible like that.

    Oh right, well in that case, I'd have to say that you're wrong.

    Ah daniel58 who whipped me ass so squarly the last time we played, tell me this: why is a quote from some dudes, like from 2000 years ago, more important than from say...Zappa?

    I'm not saying anything against Zappa per se but what he said, the content matters not necessarily the author no matter what time period you come from

    Zappa clearly displays more wisdom. Childish ego and transference is the motivation behind the first quote whereas Zappa is only speaking to help people. (If all you see is yourself then you'll probably completely misunderstand what I just said.)
