My question to Monotheists: If it is possible that one god exists, why is it not possible that there are multiple gods? Just as you ask atheists to prove god does not exist, I ask you to prove that only one god exists.
So you acknowledge there are three belief systems?

I only acknowledge that there are atheists, monotheists, and polytheists with agnostics categorized as as atheists for this discussion.

Sorry. Not one of your explanations merits serious discussion. You, sir are very good at deluding yourself!
In my opinion this entire thread lacks the need for serious discussion. Therefore, I am not going to discuss it.

Now if you could only consider all threads as lacking the need for serious discussion!

Of course some modern scholars cannot believe that Daniel wrote Daniel because of the accuracy of prophecies. The same has occurred in skeptical circles concerning the authorship of other books.

Funny graphics unintentional.
"And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed." -- Isaiah 6:9-10, KJV

Sigh. This again? Same old question, only in different clothes.

God cannot be proven. God cannot be disproven. Because if God could be proven or disproven, then the question of Faith becomes moot. And Faith is not moot.

Your question as stated by you speaks about the beliefs of three groups.

"Monotheists believe in one god. The ancients believed in multiple gods. Atheists believe in no god(s). My question to Monotheists: If it is possible that one god exists, why is it not possible that there are multiple gods? Just as you ask atheists to prove god does not exist, I ask you to prove that only one god exists."

You claim Monotheists believe in one god which should be spelled as God.

You claim the ancients which I assume you mean polytheist believe in
more than one god.

You use the word believe when speaking about Atheist too when you say
they believe in no god(s).

This seems to suggest no matter what the status of God, gods, or the
lack of God or gods are, in reality someone will be correct in their beliefs.
Can I at least get that out of you?

yea, even the polytheists couldn't prove anything next to the other
theism is about faith, and you either have it, or you don't
