Frustrating and offensive frankly.

Not all theists have such a prejudiced view of atheists, but too many do.

Who in human history do you think demonstrated the highest standard of morality?

If there is someting called "good behavior" who would you say in all human history is the best example of it?
I would say Gandhi... cliche but true. Why?

There are no perfect people. Ghandi did some great things, but was also very creepy.

There is a tendency among people to deify our heroes who may have done and said some great things, but are still human.

Yep, I couldn't agree more. That's why I as a skeptic try to be as informed as I can before I deify someone. But then there is David Gilmour, he's a true God. Don't even get me started on Bruce Cambell.

Everyone has a flaw. The legacy is most important, and how it affects us all.

Since the question referred to morality, Ghandi, should not have come up, as he wasn't anyone special with regards to morals as far as we know. His claim to fame is a campaign based on non-violence.
Legacy is very important, but we should always remember that many legacies are not just legacies of people by as much creations of the history writers and circumstance. It is quite likely that a morally 'correct' person would go totally unnoticed by most people.

You have already made up your mind. Why should I defend the truth when you obviously are completely ignorant about the Bible which is so aptly demonstrated by your senseless comments?
Perhaps you can get off of your "high horse" long enough to please explain to us all how the allegation is mistaken?

His accomplishments live on to help others, and he inspires peace constantly. Peace is very moral, and standing up for your beliefs is too, so if I look at all of the peaceful improvement and standing up for oneself he has inspired, I must say that he was very moral.

I view the best moral people as those that inspire others to be even MORE moral.

So using that rationality, the most moral of individuals can be fictional.

Quite true... however, it tends to be that those who created them are those I deem moral, personally.

So the person you should have mentioned was the screen writer for the movie 'Ghandi'?

NT Jesus can be pretty awful too. Splits families apart, lies to us and sends minions to bring us to sin, does not come to bring peace but a sword, etc.
