@kellyjay saidMy faith was real. Real like yours is. I believed Christ was ",in" me. Just like you do. But I lost my faith. I haven't betrayed anyone.
If you had
a real relationship with the Lord, you could not deny He is even real; you'd be
grieving for betraying Him by saying it was never really real. If Christ was in you,
how could you deny He is real?
-Removed-Do you think denying Hell is right because you love people? Your love for people
has you threatening to slap them, telling them to shut up, belittled them for
holding different views than you? You seem to have no problem telling others what
they should and should do and belittling them for whatever cause you happen to
find at the moment.
You realize, don't you, that the day of judgment has been fixed, it is set already, and
God is not a respecter of persons; He has no favorites; we will be judged in love,
righteousness, and goodness, and every sin will be accounted for and repaid, but
the only place anyone is going to see mercy over judgment is in Christ, all of God's
mercy is found in Christ who will be our judge. If the righteous are just barely saved,
where do you think the ungodly will end up? Where do you think those who deny
Him are going, those who He says, 'Depart from me I never knew you,' even after
they tell Him all the wonderful things they did in His name. Where do you think
all of those who refused to forgive others for the wrongs done to them are going
when Jesus said they would not be forgiven because they didn't forgive?
If I didn't care about people, I wouldn't be sitting here warning them about lies
being told about Hell by the likes of you. You don't take scriptures seriously, but
God does, and what He said He will do, He will do it.
-Removed-We share the truth; that is all we can do; we don't get to alter it to suit us to make
it more palatable to the masses. It isn't a matter of what sounds better to me; it is
simply speaking the truth, and people will react one of two ways, accept it or reject
it. I cannot protect anyone from hell; we all stand before God condemned right now,
and only Jesus can save us from that fate, not me, and the danger there does not
go away simply by saying it isn't real. Can you guarantee Hell as described in the
Bible isn't real, that what Jesus said about it isn't going to come to pass, that all of
the whats and whys surrounding righteousness and goodness make it a real
possibility? Is that something you can say in front of God and man so that if real
you can make it unreal?
-Removed-But, strangely enough, your God, somewhat modeled after Jesus the Christ, doesn't mind you not only not loving your neighbor, but judging him, mocking him, and making him look like the most bloodthirsty monster ever.
Good for you that your God doesn't give even a rat's ass that you can treat everyone around you like complete crap, but he loves you SO much that he's willing to accept your horrible tendencies to bring you into his kingdom and not judge you as you should be judged.
I am so totally not surprised you can dream up such a God, since your vanity insists on it.
But enjoy. You do you.
