I think all it tells us is that your tedious repetition gets peoples backs up.
He will say .... "What repetition!!"

I have records from the 1980's that have seen less repetition.

Well at least you have all the atheists to back you up on your doctrine so hopefully that makes you sleep at night.

Whereas you have misguided Christians to cover your back?

I have Jesus Christ and the Apostles, and some who SAY they have no faith. I sleep like a baby thank you.

Seems like you have Sonship, Kelly Jay and other mouth worshipper who condemn righteousness and good works.

So Christians are only misguided when they believe faith is important but when their feel good humanistic doctrines of lifting themselves up by their own bootstraps come along you will back them all the way?

As I told Elagar, i'm ignoring posts that begin with 'so' and completely misrepresent what I actually said.

Yet strangely enough are the only one who seems to think they condemn righteousness and good works.

The righteous will be saved.

No way this excludes my elderly (atheist) neighbour who has spent her entire life caring for others and adheres to God's law, written on her heart.
AGAIN, that verse doesn't mean what you think it means, which is what a hypocrite has told you it means.

All it takes is one sin to condemn one to he'll. Is your neighbor perfect?

As for who enters heaven or hell, do you get a vote?

I approach scripture with my own mind. You are mistaken in your interpretation of the specified text.

Please learn your bible. It's embarrassing.

You also think I'm mistaken in my interpretation that God exists, so there's that.

Even if the passage meant what you think it means, did you miss the part that says that NO ONE is "good enough" to gain salvation on their own merit? Even your elderly neighbor.

Thankfully, as an atheist, I am at liberty to dismiss those parts of the bible not to my liking. 😛

Did Elijah not get to heaven as a result of his own merit, from fulfilling his Earthly purpose?

"As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. (2 Kings 2:11).
