You know the difference between “gods” as used in that verse and God?
Yeah. Capital G God what created reality and whose truths are revealed by prophets, that is a myth, but gods exist all over the place.

Two mistakes in one sentence. Not bad, but dive holds the RHP record with five.

If you had reason then you would share, but you don't, so you didn't.

Exodus 20:3
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

If there were no other gods, then what is he talking about? Men have kings btw, but kings are just men after all. God is just another god, and nothing more. After all.

Demons.

Baal is just one example.

Yeah. Hell, satan is another god proving that your God is not actually in full control here.

Everything we hear about satan comes from God. That's like letting putin tell us about our own elections.

Satan isn’t God. He’s a created being and fallen angel. He has no more authority than God allows him.

God doesn’t lie so everything you hear about Satan is the truth.

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

(Numbers 23:19)

And you give him authority daily

So satan does evil with your god's permission. hmm

Or, God lies routinely and you never noticed.

You never read the book of Job? A lot of people think it’s the oldest book of the Bible

Where? Book, chapter, verse?

It refers not only to ancient evil 'gods', but to the 'gods' of our own making.

A big one is money.

I'm suggesting that they are all of the same type. Kings are men, right? They rule, but are not fundamentally different from other men.
