Please stop posting hour-long u-tube videos with no supporting text. At least tell us what it's all about so we don't have to waste our lives watching stuff that invariably turns out to be ill thought out and riddled with cognitive biases and logical fallacies. The end result is just that we don't bother watching it.

Actually, this one was a PBS broadcast, no bias, narrated by Jeff Goldblum, very interesting history of the beginnings of genetic engineering. There was no creationist science (an oxymoron) trying to tear it down.

Hinds kind of screwed up, showing an actual science documentary.

The point is we have been trying to play God ever since He gave mankind dominion over the earth and we immediately disobeyed Him. We have been screwing things up ever since by thinking we know better than God.

If god knew that insulin could be made by bacteria with genetic engineering, why didn't it give us that give a thousand years ago? Same with Genmod plants.

Man seperated themselves from God and his protection at the garden of Eden. Since them man has ruled man instead of looking to God for the guidence and protection we all need. We are now living the imperfect lifes that humans as a whole desire.
So God has backed up for these thousands of years and pretty much let us be on our own and have had to suffer the affects of that as you just complained about. Either we submit to God and his loving ways and let him be the Father he is wanting to be to us or we don't. We can't have it both ways.....

well then, why don't the ones who clearly submit to your man made god get instantly snatched up by the metaphorical hand of your god?

Besides, exactly what was supposed to be so great about the so-called garden of eden?

You walk around all day long butt naked, not even noticing that fact, get no education, can't read or write, can't sing, make instruments, dance, play games like chess.

Sounds like hell to me not heaven. Like everyone on permanent valium, stoned out of your gourd and it doesn't wear off in the morning. Wake up in the same fog day after day, year after year in the fishbowl of the garden of eden as god's pets.

I think, if Christ does not come back to save us before 1,000 years, humans will have destroyed themselves by that time.

yahweh has been trying to play at god too. he didn't do a very good job of it. he just manages to screw everything up. just look at the screwball religions he has left behind in the wake of his incompetence.
