I have seen the wild ramblings of someone in the Chess forum who said they were a regular in the Spirituality forum. Many of us did not even know there was a spirituality forum so I had to look for the said forum.

I'm not sure what sort of topics are discussed here (if discussed is the right word to use for when one is insulting people with opposing views to oneself), but surely aren't there moral/religious issues to the thread title?

Why would there be?

Surely the original thread talks about one playing chess against oneself. How can this possibly be misconstrued to have anything at all to do with morality or religion?

The thread is titled "Playing with yourself" which can be read in a different way. "Playing with yourself" is way different from "Playing Chess with yourself" as a quick google search will reveal.

The religious professors, mullahs, evolution scientists, gurus and so on this forum would surely have something to say about "Playing with yourself" wouldn't they? 🙄

Given the number of different religions and different god with different requirements the answer
will vary from religion to religion.

From a non-theistic perspective the response is that gods don't exist, and thus neither does sin,
so who cares if it's a sin or not?
