Am I to infer that you belief is not rational and that you recognize this? You have a lot of company there. Many of the beliefs, both core and fringe, of Christians are also not rational either. Of course, most of them don't recognize it, so at least you have a leg up on those who don't.
BTW, I might have TW mixed up with someone else, but I don't think he believes "that creation came from nothing".

I don't think anyone here believes creation came from nothing. That is merely Chaney's misunderstanding.

Creation came from a creator.
Maybe the Bible is wrong, as his university degree suggests, but that doesn't negate a creator.
He just won't admit it.
GoaD likes to toss around his purported "degree", but getting a degree alone never made anyone an authority on anything.
There are a lot of people walking around with degrees that are pretty clueless about the subject in which they "earned" their degree.
Especially, it seems, the ones who keep bringing up their degree.

It takes more faith 'in nothing' than to believe in a creator.
Intelligence is overrated, as proven by Ghost.
He is just happy with his buffetts, and not considering the big picture.

Which is why of course you seldom mention your degree in civility.
