Sounds like you do not know what a church is.
I mean in real biblical terms, you don't know what a church is.
Rather it sounds like you think a brick or wooden building with a steeple is a church.

I had a muslim friend and he repeated the line 'god says do as you will and i will be your judge' several times - there is a live and let live attitude in Islam i think we in the UK / I don't understand.

A group of people going bowling can be called a church.

Don't think I am ignorant of what the word "Church" means. However, the word has grown in meaning over time as the "Church" grew to include the place where the "Church" meets. It is sort of like a Chess Club that represents the members and also the place of meeting. The mosque will become a "Church" when the people meeting there become Christians. Get it? 😏

The Spanish Christians did not rebuild the buildings, they simply used them for Christian worship. Now, do you understand what I mean?
