We'd like you to quit drinking, too.

When you do, you get on here and abuse people.

It makes it hard for people to 'turn the other cheek'.

The modern skeptic needs Jesus.

As the age progresses I predict the modern skeptic will realize how much he has been lied to by sources that he trusted to be telling him the truth.

Hopefully he will realize that all along the One he should have put his trust in is Jesus Christ.

One way or another, everyone will put his trust in someone.
It was really all along a matter of who to believe.
I pray that all Christians come to the realization that trusting in man leads to ruin no matter which party you have soul your collective souls to.

This is why is made God sad when the Hebrews demanded a king.

The more power they have, the more damage they do.

Drinking is not your problem. Drinking is a symptom of a deeper issue.
You need to find the cause of your drinking and deal with that.
Chances are that many other undesirable symptoms [like being a dick] will also disappear as well.

A good esample of trusting in man goes on here. Posting the opinions of pastors and websites, Nobody reads the Bible and trusts in the teachings of Christ. Is all church dogma.

And yet, Jesus said we should love our neighbor.

This becomes problematic if you distrust him.

Is it impossible to love your neighbor if you know that God is true and every man is a liar?

It seems to me that is why Christ went to the cross

A good example of manmade doctrine ... definitely not in the Bible.
