Well apples don't contain a database or library of things that are right or wrong, the knowledge contained in which, to be uptaken in the brain by eating them; but that doesn't stop you believing Adam & Eve ate an apple giving them knowledge of right and wrong!
Indeed when you say:
[b]using this information and our powers of deduction from other verses in ...[text shortened]... lsewhere!
I've got to say you have really mastered this double-think malarckey! 😵

No it's not scientifically accurate, it's anything but that. Genetics tells us that the human population has never dropped below a few thousands pairs and that it's an impossibilty we started from two people. But i guess that's not 'True Science'?!

did the universe have a beginning or did it not?
I answered your question now answer mine, do you accept that the genetic evidence contradicts your literal account of Genesis?

it stands to reason dear agers.
Don't you realise that there may be numerous lurkers on these boards walking away from their inclinations to embrace your religion simply because you are doing such a terrible job of defending it! (not just in this thread but every other thread you are involved in)
Come on Robbie, why do you believe in magic apples if you don't believe in talking snakes? 😵

you. I will not be drawn into another futile creation v evolution argument, it is well
known that all science reads from the same cook book!

You're correct though, it is a futile debate. It's futile because one side chooses to remain 'closed-minded' and 'ignorant'. Your words, not mine.

again there is no mention of apples or magic , you are blathering dear agers, great
learning is driving you mad!

What's the point of being the most malevolent Bible character when you have to miss out on all the fun?numbered killings
God : 2,476,633 [99.9996%]
Satan : 10 [0.0004%]
estimated total killings
God : 25 million [99.9998%]
Satan : 60 [0.0002%]

ever heard of the concept of free will? a free moral agent, responsible for their own actions? are you blaming the physicists who developed nuclear physics for dropping the atomic bomb? does your position seem reasonable to you?
As long as you continue to deny that your god is responsible for your gods creation you make the case that your god is entirely human.
Or at least man-made.

P.S. The Christian God is good and teaches mankind to do good. God is not responsible for the wrong doings of mankind, when He has not taught mankind to do bad.
However, if a parent teaches his child to do something that is wrong and the child obeys, then the parent is also responsible for the bad behavior. It is also the responsiblity of the parent to punish bad behavior.
