HalleluYAH !!!
You see, where I meet we all learn to speak. We do not have a clergy / laity organization. Everyone present in the meeting is given at least three minutes to prophesy, proclaim, teach, speak for the Lord.

This sound like you are joining the ranks of the atheists with the fairy tale
and the spaghetti monster or some such comments. That is where you
belong for you are certainly not a Christian and Christ would rather have
you hot or cold, rather than luke warm. I guess it makes his judgment so
much easier, so all will agree with it.
have you been watching too much of the Magic roundabout again?
Are you saved and do you have eternal life ? Yes or No.
No i am not saved and at present i am getting older and will eventually die. But then
again i never did put much emphasis in my own personal salvation, unlike you
megalomaniacs.

"I have written these things to you that you may know that you have eternal life, to you who believe into the name of the Son of God." (1 John 5:13)
You do not have the assurance of your redemption. You need to be born again.
That you would mock such assurance as megalomania only shows how pitifully deceived you have been.
"I have written these things to you that you may KNOW ... KNOW ... KNOW that you have eternal life."
That is not "wish".
That is not "hope for the best".
That is not "hang in there and see how it turns out".
The Apostle said "that you may KNOW that you have etenal life".
You see Robbie, you need the Holy Spirit within as the pledge, as the anointing and assurance.
You are being cheated. You call the assurance of the indwelling Holy Spirit megalomania. You are being tragically cheated.

I would never ask that question of ANYBODY. It is an unfair question.
It reminds me of the kind of questions that the Pharisees were asking
Jesus in order to trick Him. If you answer No it implies that you do not
believe in and have faith in the Lord Jesus the Christ for your salvation.
But if you answer Yes you would be lying or deceived. The only way a
Christian could truthfully answer that question is "I am being saved."
So next time, please rephrase your question or at least leave out the
"Yes or No" at the end.

That may be true. I have said things before that was not what I meant to say
and did not realize it until it was brought to my attention. That is one of the
drawbacks of being human and having half a brain.

In the New Testament sometimes questions like this were asked.
Acts 9:2; Gal. 3:1;
It was not meant to be injurious at all.

Jesus in order to trick Him.
It was not a trick. It was only to help him see that the word of God can be trusted. And according to that word of God we CAN know that we have eternal life - per the Apostle John.
Face it. Once you meet Jesus it is really HARD not to believe in Jesus. You know that you know that you know you have met God.
If you answer No it implies that you do not
believe in and have faith in the Lord Jesus the Christ for your salvation.
He doesn't have to answer me. It is good if he takes it to God in prayer and has a good talk with God about it.
He is not accountable to me. He is accountable to the Lord and Savior Jesus.
This was a question I hope he would take to Jesus Christ.

I think thats more correct .. I am being saved. We are saved by the blood of Christ and we cannot doubt that :
1Pet 1:18-19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
But when Christians walk around claiming that they are saved and at the same time commit the most atrocious sins, it makes one wonder what the Churches are preaching. Salvation is a process which starts the day we give our life to Christ, and does not stop until we die or until Christ returns. Paul said :
2Tim 4:7-8 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
We cannot just talk and expect Christ to reward us. We have to keep the faith and do the important works which Christ told us to do.
