This isn’t related to what you posted, but just to elaborate, one reason I think it’s interesting atheists I’ve talked with believe extraterrestrials exist is it makes life on earth much less of a miracle and more of an evolutionary process. Another reason it’s interesting is they believe something with next to no evidence that it’s true but deny the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, which has much more evidence.

Firstly, I don’t believe sentient beings exist on other planets, though it’s interesting that every atheist I’ve come across does.
Secondly, I don’t think we would be able to exhibit the ability to violate the laws of physics and wink in and out of the sky to sentient beings who exist in a terrestrial realm (and not a spiritual realm.)
I was polite enough to say 'if' sentient beings exist. I don't believe God exists, but am still happy to enter 'if' scenarios about His existence.

Also, if aliens are able to travel immense distances to visit us (something we can't currently do) then obviously they have technology beyond our understanding. (So perhaps they only violate physics as we understand it in our less advanced state).

There are four atheists in my house this evening. I'm the only one who believes aliens exist.

Sorry if this doesn't fit in with your convenient generalization.

Let's hope so. 🙂

Aliens from Kepler-186f (an exoplanet orbiting the red dwarf Kepler-186) apparently take the offering of a shirt as a declaration of inter-galactic war.

I don’t think extraterrestrials are interested in nude tickle fights, tiger. They aren’t your blokes after an evening of pounding the pints.

dive takes the offering of a shirt as an invitation to a tickle fight.

Are you speaking for all atheists now, tiger?
