The Pastafarian belief of heaven stresses that it contains beer volcanoes and a stripper factory.[17] Hell is similar, except that the beer is stale and the strippers have VD.[18]

We all don't believe in God..
And those who believe in God are divided in many different Gods.
But i say we should share all our points of view with an open mind instead of staying home where everyone surely will nod to your belief.
We can't be all right at the same time. I say divergences must start to fade away, and that can only be done in a pacific away by changing opinions and understanding eachothers points of view.
Im talking about the Christian denominations.... they all believe in 1 god,the same god so why be seperate in your worship, come together and it will be a lot healthier....

I do agree with you regarding sharing with an open mind....that can only be soul refreshing at its best!!!!

You realize of course that Judaism, Islam and the Bahai Faith also have the same god. Make sure you include them also.

For that matter, Hinduism, Buddhism and I'm sure several others also believe in the God of truth, love, compassion, justice, etc.

I'm all for it. What say you?

Agreed. I'm serious, but I'm not so sure that you are. Are you?

I'm even thinking that "atheists" who believe in truth, love, compassion, justice, etc. can also be welcomed and embraced.

If their guiding principle ('Lord'😉 is Truth, love, compassion, justice, etc., I'm thinking they ARE there. They just choose not to include an outside agent in their conceptual model.

Does that mean I'm a Christian, although I don't believe in Christ? ( I believe the message, not the miracle parts)

What does it mean to 'believe in Christ'?

The teachings of Jesus are quite deep and profound if you care to look for the deeper meanings. The fuller one's understanding of them becomes, the easier they are to follow. The truth will make you free.

All the great prophets brought very similar messages. Unfortunately it seems like the messages of the prophets have been distorted by the religions that grew from them.

Live a life of humility, love, compassion, justice, etc.

Or is it rather a case of prophets only become great when they have the right message? Or that the message is interpreted to be the essentially the same? Or that living a life of humility, love, compassion, justice, etc is what we all believe to be the ideal and look to prophets to tell us about but often do not actually act on ourselves?

You are also rather contradicting what many Christians claim about Jesus' message being a new one.
