That might be a hazard to say that.
Bones don't lie, but people have been known to lie. Of the thousands of religions that have existed, you believe all of them are untrue except your own. I believe they are all untrue including your own, so we really disagree only about one religion.

And when he comes to understand why it is that he disbelieves all those thousands of other religions, then he will understand why we disbelieve in his.

I won't hold my breath for that though.

btw, I realise that I am mis-quoting someone but the Internet has failed me in finding out who it was. Doesn't appear to be Dawkins.

It was Stephen F Roberts:

“I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.”

— Stephen F. Roberts quoted in "Like Rolling Uphill"

That's the one, thanks.

At least these people are still alive to question. You, conversely, listen to speculations and guesses of other men who died hundreds of years ago. You wouldn't even know if Jesus had existed had these liars* not told you so.

(* Dunno if they are liars, just creating resonance there. But then, you don't know if the palaeontologists and archaeologists you refer to are liars either, do you?)
Anyone that contradicts the "Word of Truth" must be a liar.

Jesus the Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes
to God, but through Him.

That's the 'Word of Truth' that those liars told you about?

I saw a progam on the science channel on Direct TV yesterday about
how this scientist believes the universe began some 17. something
billions of years ago. He apparently knows that Dawkins has said
we were not descended from the ape for he says man's common
ancestor was probably this certain type of worm. Doesn't that sound
nice to know we are nothing more than evolved worms.

Worms and humans have a common relative. Just because this does not sit pretty with you does not change the truth.

What is surprising is that Atheists post on the Spirituality forum.

You clearly are too far gone into your trolling that you have forgotten what 'liar' means in the English language.

Atheists have spirit! Theists have superstition but call it spirit.

Why do you find this surprising?

Here is the RHP description of what this forum is for:

"Debate and general discussion of the supernatural, religion, and the life after."

Why do you imagine that atheists would not want to post here?

I keep hearing from most atheists that they don't believe in the supernatural,
religion, or the life after. One would think they would have nothing to
discuss on this forum. All they really can say to others is, "You are wrong".
But apparently they are right in a weird way for I now know that atheism
is considered a religion and they even have their own church.

I'm pretty sure that belief in the supernatural, religion or afterlife is not required in order for people to wish to discuss it.
