In Greek there are two meanings for time. One of the Greek words means time as in minutes and seconds and there's another time that means the time of the age. Usually ages last about 2500 years.
Do you really think that the US will last forever and that Christians won't be persecuted here?

While Jehovah witnesses claim Jesus Christ is Michael the Archangel. So that is a different gospel.

But you are not being persecuted for claiming things like the Bible says Jesus Christ is Michael the Archangel, and they think that they are. So where does that leave you regarding 2 Timothy 3:12?
