If 2 and 2 are the same, how can one of the 2's be greater than the other?

Okay, so Jesus is 'part of' God, but not equal to him?

Dive believes in a "Godhead" which is eerily similiar to the Trinity.

In both cases, God is not a singular God, as laid out in the OT, and the 1st commandment.

God has become plural since the council of Nicea.

No, if were just from Nicea it would be meaningless, from the beginning in scripture you see God who is One.

Deuteronomy 6:4 English Standard Version (ESV)
4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.

Mark 12:29
Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.

Throughout the OT you hear several times that God speaks in plural, "let us make..." Genesis 1:26 which gives us Father, Son, and Holy Spirit hints in the OT. The revealing of God in the NT is much more personal, and if you read the book of John it is declared throughout it, more clearly then the other books, but this is there in all of the Bible.

John 10:30
I and the Father are one.”

John 17:21
that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

This is why when Jesus said He is the Way, Truth, and Life there was no way to God accept through Him He wasn't kidding.

Oh no ! A prima facia case for Judaism and Christianity NOT being entirely monotheistic.
I think that calls for a new, more modern religion, to be invented.
Any suggestions ?

No, not Christianity. No, not Judaism.

May I present, 'Hinduism' the first true monotheistic religion. But Hinduism is polytheistic I hear you cry. - Consider this quote from the Vedas:

'Ishwar alone provides true knowledge to truth seekers. He alone is promoter of knowledge and motivates virtuous people into noble actions to seek bliss. He alone is the creator ...[text shortened]... so apply on different material entities.

Does it say anywhere in the Vedas that Ishwar died for you?

Does it say anywhere in the Vedas that Ishwar will give you eternal life by simply believing (in) him?

Do the Vedas contain any information or history of Ishwar's miraculous intervention in human affairs?

Do the Vedas contain a history of irrefutable predictions of future events, both past fulfilled and future?

Has Ishwar ever raised anyone from the dead?

Jesus
This refers to the fact that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father alone. Indeed, this is during the upper room discourse in which the Holy Spirit is mentioned directly later.

Sure, the Bible 'says' these things.

I'm sure someone more versed in the Vedas could list a lot of splendid things in their writings that the Bible doesn't contain. For example, the Vedas respect all life-forms and are against any sort of killing for selfish desires. Can the same be said for the Bible? They also outshine the Bible when it comes to physics, chemistry, medicines, sociology, mathematics, theology and engineering. And of course, unlike the Bible, the Vedas are relevant to all countries and not geographically restricted.

Please provide the context where 2 and 2 are the same while one of the 2's is simultaneously greater.

(I can only think of a broken calculator).
