Well isn't this an exciting game!!! ...It's like Cluedo, only with more suspects 😀

With the pattern I've spotted so far, I suspect it is someone who's first letter of their rhp name is not in the middle third of the alphabet.

I find the behaviour bizarre as the posts thumbed down are perfectly reasonable, whoever does it is doing it because of the person posting rather than the contents of the post. I'll sometimes rec posts if they are exceptional. I'll very rarely thumb down posts, they basically have to be offensive.

Edit: I've a hunch the first letter isn't in the first half of the alphabet either.

This almost OCD behaviour has been noted by several regular posters in recent weeks. I wonder what a psychologist would make of it; perhaps the action is a physical expression of dissonance, of distancing one's self from the poster rather than the post itself.

You know serial killers sometimes spawn copycat killers?

Yes, but I don't think thumbing down all posts by atheists and agnostics on an internet forum is quite on the same scale as serial killing.

    It's how they start!
Knocking on strangers' doors and running away is next.

Sounds like you're on to the Kabal Konspiracy a lot sooner than we hoped...

There are so far 6 down votes on the OP, so look for two more suspects.

I have page after page after page of my posting history where I have just a single thumbs down for virtually every single post.

Yes, I am sure the extras in this thread are just from jokers.

Are there any limits to how many up votes or down votes a poster can give out? If not, maybe you could suggest such limits in the site ideas forum.
