I read this book by A.W.Tozer years ago and have picked it up again.
Has anyone else ever read it?

It was one of the books I read early in my Christian walk.

I find it to be page after page of complete nonsense.

Of course, I'm not a member of its targeted audience. This is a piece written to exhort believers.

How many pages of nonsense did you read then before you could take no more? LOL

Someone put a loaded gun to my head and demanded I read either Tozer or the last 10 pages of your RHP posting history. I chose Tozer.

You might enjoy some of it. I think his incoherence will wed nicely with your own. For instance, he shares similar thoughts on God as the "eternal" agent. I think it will make for a nice bizarro comic book. We could call it Adventures of the Amazing Changeless Changing Man!!! or something like that.

I'm not saying I wouldn't want the book if I were stranded on a desert island or something like that. I could use it as fuel for a signal fire.

i stopped when it said that the impulse to pursue god comes from god. so twhitehead isn't atheist because he chooses to be. he is atheist because God didn't proccess the request for "issue god seeking impulse for twhitehead". that form must have been lost in the paperwork.

apparently god doesn't have anything better to do than nudge us to believe in him. and if the form mentioned before gets lost, that person goes to hell. good to see our afterlife depends on heaven bureaucracy

Sometimes I wonder how you skeptics can say so many stupid things in one day.

Then it came to me. You get up early.

What that tells you is God draws you, you either respond or not, the
fact that you were not drawn will not be up for discussion only your
    responce.

Yea I ordered the book after a friend of mine started reading it, I'm
glad I have it, but since my eye sight isn't what it used to be
LemonJello's link makes it easier for me to read too. He is good for
    something. 🙂

thank you very much that is what i said.

nevermind i will go back to argue with twhitehead and vistesd and nemesio. they at least post some arguments along with their posts. and argue politely. somehow jaywill figured that god wants him to make that witty remark instead of making the sinner(me) understand. oh well we all make our choices. you choose to like that book and recommend it to whoever will choose to read it, jaywill chooses to be an ass and i choose that the first 2 paragraphs are enough for me to realize that an old lady reciting the telephone book would be more entertaining than the book.

    sorry.
