-Removed-I would add to that by expressing the subjective opinion that the supposed revelation by this Jesus/God figure ~ if we are to believe what followers of Jesus claim about it ~ was an abject failure. If it had been a success, wouldn't more [or almost all] of humanity be "aware" of God's existence and his "will" and then exercise genuine free will about whether to obey him or not?
-Removed-I didn't give you a thumbs down. I sparingly use that; I do use thumbs up now and then. I've come to believe that many people give those things simply for the people who wrote something because they dislike the person, not so much because of the thing said, so it doesn't have much meaning for me. If they would allow us to see who did it, I'd more than likely use it.
Jesus didn't fail; He gave us the right to be children of God. The Kingdom of God will be one of holiness, righteousness, love, and for us mercy and grace. We can come to God as is all because of Jesus' sacrifice without exception to make Jesus Lord and Savior, it is not one without the other. Savior requires we owe up to our sins asking for forgiveness, and because we are being forgiven for our lifetimes of sins, God tells us to forgive those who have wronged us. It is in the scriptures if you read the whole thing.
