I believe the point He is making is that Jesus is the only Way to the Father and there is no
other way to Him. This means of course that it doesn't matter what we think, it only

-Removed-In fairness to ToO, only the words spoken by Jesus while He walked the Earth can be trusted, and among those, only the words that ToO personally likes the sound of. (If they're 'profound' then, 'by and large,' they can be considered genuine).
This is absolutely not a case of cherry picking. Absolutely not.
