Jesus gave us two great commandments, to love God and each other.
Satan is doing everything in his power to divide us from one another and
from God. One of the things I've noticed (I've fallen into this too) is that
from time to time political debates occur and people get, well they are
being very loving, or kind to one to another.
I only ask those that claim to follow Christ who are we to love?
Are we to love everyone? Are there exceptions, did God give us that
wiggle room for people who are: a different color, different nationality,
Republican, Democrat, man, woman, even an enemy, we allowed to
hate any? For that matter even those that are not of our same faith was
there exceptions there either? If we find we have a great deal of hate in
our hearts for any for any reason even so called enemies we are to love.
Galatians 5:14-16
14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another. 16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.
If you attempt to justify hate, shouldn't that be a red flag to you that maybe
your heart isn't where it needs to be?

Meaningless in light of the OP, the point of the OP is do we allow our support for whichever we do support to cause us to dislike or hate others. The topics that pop up from time to time typically draw lines between people and when this occurs do we see and feel hateful thoughts? Enough of those can actually drive some to hateful deeds to.
