Thou shalt not kill.
What about in self defense?
Man has put 'wiggle room' into those commandments.
Thou shalt not steal.
What if a starving person takes a loaf of bread? He either dies, or eats.
Stop pretending that this is a cut and dry topic.
God created sin, because God created humans.
Deal with it.

Sure as long as you recognize there is more to it.
In the end God makes the call, not us, even for our own salvation.

Horrible, horrible people who need Jesus??
I don't accept that.
God created us, as HE wanted to create us.
Don't pretend that "sin" and a "talking snake" changes that.

You just said that honest mistakes and hateful actions are the same in the eyes of your god, according to you.

I've said it before: this god you peddle is evil, and you just confirmed that point again.
Originally posted by @apathistThe term 'evil' as you use it, does it describe actions that you view to be morally unsound for only you or for everyone?

more than a few people who no longer feel bad when they do wrong. The ability to
feel bad or guilty is not required, if it were than those that could harm others without
guilt would be guiltless. What will happen is that we will hold others accountable for
the very things we do, thus we will condemn ourselves by our own actions and words.
The only way to stay clear on what is and isn't the right thing to do is through the
leading of God's Spirit in one's life. Without God you will be on your own to do things
as you see fit, and you will be held accountable for those choices and actions too.
You can claim God is a peddler of evil, but when you are confronted with both God
and your life, you will have no excuses, but will stand accountable for what you claim
is the way it should be now.

Great. So even gentiles, who adhere to their conscience where God's law is written, but still occasionally sin, are also saved.
I can sleep soundly tonight.
Originally posted by @chaney3All of us have disobeyed God's commands at some point, that makes us sinners. It's really not a difficult concept to understand.

Why the sudden u turn?

Originally posted by @dj2beckerSure, but then atheists (being non-Jewish) are also Gentiles.
