I'm not sure whether you mean we're frugal with our resources, or we're being shown the way by god, and thus decieved (into thinking he doesn't exist) by the miserable deciever.

Yes, I agree.
I do wonder that whilst the Christian science fraternity always tell us that our science is wrong, they seem completely incapable of actually pointing out in a logical coherent way exactly why our [wrong, incorrect] science is so good at producing things that actually work.
What I do have a problem with is when peope take science, apply some suppositions, and draw conclusions because that's what they want to believe. Some people treat science as if it were God. They say science has all the answers and if it lacks an answer, well, science just hasn't found it yet, dismissing the spiritual (like miracles) as something scientific.

As soon as EB's stop with their faith-based agenda, the ID's will stop with theirs. EB's want to teach something no one knows as though it were fact. ID's want to teach something no one knows as though it were fact. Since no one knows, why not teach that we don't know? Oh, that's right: that would be too honest.

I'll get you started:
(1) Suppose ET is true.
(2) Then, .....
In the absence of a proof on your part showing this 'logical impossibility', why should any of us take your word on this matter seriously? Answer: we shouldn't.

Who can remember the last time he saw something spiritual posted here? Spiritual posts are the rare exception rather than the norm. Mainly what we do here is argue and bicker. On occasion we get some rare spiritual insight from Revered Kirksey, but that's about it.
Why don't we merge this forum back into Debates, where the rest of the site's a ...[text shortened]... es place, or give it a more fitting name. This Spirituality forum is an object of ridicule..
1) What is the truth of 50 Cent?
2) Can God speak through a dyslexic with Tourrets Syndrom?
3) Tower of Babel: Tell your story.
4) Who's got it worse than Job? Tell us why.
5) How do you bring a porn star to Jesus?
6) Why do black people make better preachers?
