what if you pray and believe in a God but you do not know who God is?
15 When you spread out your hands in prayer,
I will hide my eyes from you;
even if you offer many prayers,
I will not listen.
Your hands are full of blood;
16 wash and make yourselves clean.
Take your evil deeds
out of my sight!
Stop doing wrong,
17 learn to do right!
Seek justice,
encourage the oppressed. [a]
Defend the cause of the fatherless,
plead the case of the widow.
18 "Come now, let us reason together,"
says the LORD.
"Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool.

Let me help you RB, if I may. Let me paint a scenario in the same vein as the Zacheuss story.
Let's say that tomorrow morning Donald Trump got up and said, "I don't like what I've become. I've got money and all kinds of outward things, but I'm empty on the inside." Let's say he goes on his program the Apprentice and says, "I'm tired of pitting all ...[text shortened]... cleft palates."
Now, just imagine the world reaction to all this.

why would a non-believer pray to God? is a non-believer somebody who does not believe in the LORD or somebody who does not believe in any God?
It's been my experience that the overwhelming majority of those who call themselves Christians are non-believers. They'll all praise and worship, but very few sincerely follow.

Originally posted by EcstremeVenomFrom what I can tell, humans are born with desires for the self: pride, greed, lust, seeking sensory experiences, etc. As one gives these desires up, one gains a less distorted view of reality. The less distorted his view, the easier it is to give up the desires of the self and so on. What's left is a desire for truth, love, justice, etc. It's a difficult process that requires the utmost sincerity. One can look upon it as maturing. Most stop well short.
how do you sincerely follow the ways of God?
Hope this makes sense 🙂

And concerning Rosie, she didn't need any help from Trump to be humiliated. All she has to do to be humiliated is open her mouth and start talking.
