And yet here you are entering into banter with him and you interact with him all the time on the General Forum. If josephw cites the Bible verse about "enmity against God" and directs it personally at you, will that be a proper use for the Bible?

We are attempting to determine through associating with a known apostate whether divesgeester is a friend of the world and an enemy of God.

Well you have already said that he seems to be "an enemy of God" according to you. josephw's citing of James 4:4 was triggered by divegeester interacting with a non-Christian (wolfgang59) on this message board. If you interact with non-Christians on these forums, would it be an appropriate use of the Christian Bible to direct James 4:4 at you? Would josephw be justified in doing so?

robbie carrobie, Startreader, lemon lime, Suzianne, josephw ~

If wolfgang59 is a "strange bedfellow" for a Christian on an internet forum like this, what other non-Christians who post regularly here do you think you must avoid association with? Can you list the names of posters who are 'strange bedfellows' for Christians?

Its depends on the degree of interaction and what motivated it.

FMF he is a self confessed confessed apostate. That's who I would add to the list.

And you believe it is right and fitting for you to judge him and the degree of his interaction? Do any of your own interactions with non-Christians here leave you open to credible accusations of being "an enemy of God"?
