The Vedas also have zero tolerance for any person who commits such vile acts, and capital punishment is always carried out in civilized societies.
It is only in corrupted societies that criminals are protected by the corrupted officials.(and they don't have capital punishment) and as a result we have violent communities all over the world where innocent people are violated constantly and are afraid to go out at night.

I also have "zero tolerance" for people committing mass murder, rape and kidnapping and condemn such things outright. They should be dealt with to the full extent of the law. However, I do not support capital punishment and I personally believe that it is an indication of progress in a civilization when it stops executing people ~ as is now the case in most countries in Europe and certainly all members of the European Union.
