The religion is a dumb as other forms of xianity*. I took a couple of math classes from a private SDA college. The professors were great people. They were much more tolerant of my non-belief than a lot of other xian sects.

    * - To deal with the typical fundie response, "SDA is not Christianity." Yes, it is. Get over yourself and learn some comparative religion.

Not in the US. They technically can't make laws about religion, and it's still a pluralistic society. You can keep your Saturdays. But if you live in a different country, I don't know the answer. It would help if you were more specific.

No. Other than SDA's most people couldn't care less about a Sunday Law so it will never happen.

And where did you get the bit about a national Sunday law? Is it something that seventh day adventists worry about? Has it happened in any country that you know of? Under such a law would Jews and Muslims also have to worship on Sundays or would those religions be banned anyway? What about us atheists?

In the Bible, it talks about that in the end of time and that during this time, Christians will be persecuted for their beliefs. I do not know of any country that has this law yet, but I believe that all it would take is one more major terrorist attack like 9\11, and it would push the goverment to enforce it in the United States. Yes, it would require anyone in any religion to become sunday churchgoers. 🙁
