The perception of existence optimistic theists desire to maintain will surely expire when the brain stops functioning and receiving/processing inputs from our decaying sensory organs. We won't have any capacity to experience or care about it.

Does "WE" mean the uneducated, uninlightened, atheistic types, who are envious of God?

(says who)

The Vedanta teacings will reveal themselves, you just have to apply yourself.

Everyone can google Veadanta and explore every night for one hour, gosh you spend more than one hour denying God in this forum every night.

But remember to have an open mind, because a fault finding attitude will not reveal anything.

That's interesting. How did you come to that conclusion?

Seemed to me that in order to become one with Brahman one must adopt jnana yoga, though the other yogas may be useful as stepping stones. I asked a Swami and he concurred.

Why not ask someone who has died? His name is Jesus Christ!! 😵

Jnana yoga is the stepping stone, because when you become situated in knowledge through the process of Jnana, you realize with the knowledge youve aquired that the goal of life is to love God with pure devotion, ....and since bhakti is the path of devotion it must be the top most.

Vedanta is full of jnana, in fact the principles are so lofty that that they are always directing the student towards Bhakti.

If one follows Jnana yoga, and doesnt move into Bhakti, then the Jnana is not serving its purpose.

The svami you speak of is an impersonalist, and merging with Brahman you can do, but that is not the higheast truth.

The highest truth is to have a loving relationship with God on a personal basis, and in the spiritual dimension there are unlimited spiritual activities to engage in this loving relationship.

Well I dont accept that a person is an atheist because of conclusive proof they have, that God doesnt exist,.....so by default they must have some envy towards God.

This argument is unsound in my view.
